What is Songbird Network?

The Songbird Network is the Canary network for Flare. It's native asset is the Songbird token - $SGB. The network itself has a number of unique features aside from being fast, cheap and scalable.

 

First and foremost, #Songbird will allow integrated assets such as $XRP, $LTC, $DOGE, $XLM and (most recently) $ALGO to be brought onto the network in a trustless manner.

 

These (F) assets can then be utilised on Songbird, providing a single hub in which multiple assets derived from various blockchains can interact with smart contracts together. In addition, Songbird has an Oracle system built right into the network itself which is responsible for outputting prices to be used on the network in a decentralized manner.
